A Date at the Japanese Tea Garden

This was such a lovely, unexpected, day!

We intended to go to the San Antonio Zoo , but were surprised to see endless waves of green, children clad in green, parents glad in green, couples clad in green,,

We accidentally ventured out on St.Patricks day!!

And anyone in San Antonio knows, we will take any reason to get out and celebrate a day,, so any holiday registers places like the zoo almost unnavigable for folks who’re easily overstimulated (us).

So we headed to the neighboring Japanese Tea Garden, which is a beautiful timeless haven in San Antonio, that offers free admission and spectacular views.

We had fun walking around and sitting at each bench, people watching , listening for birds, and deciding which koi fish were ‘us’

I love days like these.

We started the day with Lavender Matcha lattes from “The Human Bean.” 10/10 from us! Absolutely delicious and delectable.
